Do lightning rods attract lightning?

No. Lightning rods do not attract lightning. They are components of a system designed to intercept a lightning strike and provide a controlled conductive path toward the grounding system.

Can lightning protection be installed on an existing home?

Yes. Lightning protection systems can be installed on many existing homes and commercial structures. The installation method depends on the building’s construction, roofing materials and architectural design.

Can lightning protection be installed on a metal roof?

Do you install copper lightning protection systems?

Yes. StrikeForce installs copper lightning protection systems as well as aluminum components and systems when appropriate for the structure and application.

Lightning Rod Installation

Lightning rods are one of the most recognizable parts of a complete lightning protection system.

When properly installed as part of an engineered system, they help intercept lightning and safely direct its energy through conductors into a properly grounded network.

StrikeForce Lightning Protection LLC specializes in professional lightning rod installation for residential and commercial properties throughout Florida.
